Obituary

William Frank Jordan, 71, of Bellaire, passed away on Sunday, July 4, 2021, at Meadowbrook Medical Care Facility.  He was born on May 31, 1950, in Detroit, MI, the son of Frank and Leona (Blovet) Jordan.

Bill loved to spend time with his grandchildren.  He enjoyed working with his hands.  He spent a lot of his time outdoors; whether he was cutting trees for firewood, planting and tending to his apple orchard, watching eagles and ducks fly over Clam Lake, sitting around the campfire, or building deer blinds and much more.  He also like watching westerns and WWII movies, and he was a long-time member of Ducks Unlimited.  Bill will be remembered for his keen sense of humor and the many funny stories he told through the years.

On August 11, 1973, in Southfield, MI, Bill married the love of his life, Colleen “Ollie” Jordan, who survives.  Also surviving are two sons, Matthew Frank Jordan of Warren, MI and Robert William Jordan of Eastport; his sister, Laura Marie Wood; and three grandchildren, Blake Jordan, Jacob Jordan, and Alicia Jordan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Loretta Eikamp.

Bill’s family will host a Celebration of Life pig roast at the Jordan residence, 7597 Cottage Drive, Bellaire, MI 49615 on Saturday, July 31, 2021, starting at 1:00 p.m.  All are welcome to attend and bring a dish to pass.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
