Steve was such an amazing man and always there for my family. He was like a grandpa to our kids, our daughter who is special needs got a 3 wheel bike for her birthday (which is. In February) by the time spring came one tire was flat so we took it across the road to Steve to air up the tire and when he did it was like a loud explosion, the whole tire burst it scared us all but then we laughed, later thay day Steve came over with a new tire for macey! We love you Steve may you rest in peace.

I have known Steve for about 6 years when we moved to town and I was walking to the post office and I walked past his house and he shouted out "Hey you want a job pulling weeds" and I said yes because I love to play in the dirt and forward to 2018 I had my daughter, and she was his cousin and she loved him every single time that she would walk in the house she would be so excited to see Steve and Verna, she would yell "Teve!" because she can't correctly say Steve that is what she would call him and she loved him so much that when she went to go for a kiss, he would make sure that it was on the cheek and he told her "now we can't be kissing cousins, we aren't that way." Fast forward to today I told him that I am pregnant with my second child and he kept telling me that I was going to have twins and I told him don't jinx me and he told me I predicted that you were going to have a girl and I got that right so you could be having twins. I have so many memories of Steve, I can still hear his voice in the back of my head and I really wish he was still here, we had a blast when I was around, we always did firework shows on 4th of July and I told his wife and step son that we should do a tribute for him, because that was his tradition to do a firework show. I have only a couple photos of my daughter and steve I wish I had more but I don't

Steve was always a very good neighbor. Always ready to help and keeping an eye on things. He was always puttering in his yard and kept it immaculate.  I am very sorry for his passing.
