William W Reif

William W. Reif II, 77 of Ellsworth died May 1, 2025 at home surrounded by his family. He was born September 28, 1947 in Bay City, the son of William and Helen (Reimann) Reif.

William was a proud member of the US Army joining during the Vietnam War and was stationed in Korea during his service. He was a dedicated employee and worked for many years as head of skilled labor at Odawa Casino. He loved the great outdoors, spending time gardening, hunting, fishing, and being on the water, especially Lake Huron where he grew up. He collected many tools over the years and enjoyed “tinkering”. His pride and joy were his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and he loved spending time with them and their families.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Nancy (Sherman) Reif, children Jennifer (Randy) Theis of Waukegan, IL, Kelly (Seth) Howie of Boyne City, grandchildren Jessica Theis, Lucas Rock, Aubrey (Ty) Kellum, Emma Howie, great grandchildren Lily Thorn, Robert Thorn, and Renner Kellum.
