William Katko

WILLIAM (BILL) KATKO 72, of Mancelona, passed away on September 14, 2007 at his home. Bill was born October 23, 1934 in Dearborn, MI. He worked for many years as a pipe fitter/plumber for Ford Motor Company. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army paratroopers. Bill and his wife Doloris moved to Northern Michigan in 1985. He enjoyed two-tracking, visiting the lakes of northern Michigan and bowling. Bill is survived by his wife Doloris; step-sons Tom and Brad Burton of Lincoln Park, David Burton of Brownstown, Steve Burton of Flint, Jody Burton and daughter Mary Waara of South Gate; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and his sister Lillian Sabbabin of Dearborn Heights. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Dennis. A memorial service will take place on Sat., Oct. 13, 2007 at Three p.m. at the American Legion Post #426 in Trenton, Michigan.
