William Hoig

William W Hoig, 67 of Mancelona, died Monday, October 9, 2017 at Munson Medical Center.  He was born July 2, 1950, the son of Wayne and Ethel (Anger) Hoig.

William was employed by the Huron Valley School System in Oakland County and retired after 38 years of dedicated service.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and watching western movies.

Surviving William is his mother Ethel, his sons Todd, Billy, and Stanton, siblings Carol (Dave) Cathey, Ronald (Linda) Hoig, Kenneth (Faye) Hoig, Karen Hoig, Jeffrey (Patty) Hoig, Laura (Mike) Viszmeg, and Denise (Richard) Schroeder, and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his father.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, October 18, at 1 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery, Mancelona.
