William "Bill" Nyland

William H. Nyland (Bill) went to his heavenly home on March 13, 2026. Bill was born on March 8, 1957, to Howard and Myrtle Nyland, the youngest of six children.

Bill was raised in East Jordan and graduated from East Jordan Public Schools. He worked in several different occupations in his lifetime, from cook to factory and construction. Bill was blessed with mechanical abilities and was always willing to share his knowledge and offer a helping hand to others.

Bill was a very social person and enjoyed visiting with family and friends. He was always willing to lend an ear to anyone who needed one. Bill also enjoyed riding his bike with his loyal fury friend, Blondie.

Bill had his own personal relationship with the Lord and often talked about how his Savior helped him find his way during difficult times. He now rests with his heavenly Father and will be greatly missed by all who loved him.

Bill is survived by his brother Bert (Nancy) Nyland, a daughter and three grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

A private remembrance and celebration of Bill's life will be held at a future date.
