W. SCOTT WAGONER 65, of Bellaire, died on Tuesday, June 26, 2007 of Heart Failure after a 7 year courageous battle with kidney disease. Scott was born on July 11, 1941 in Muskegon, the son of Harold "Red" and Opal (Turner) Wagoner. He resided in Gaylord for 3 years before moving to Bellaire in 1991. He owned and operated C Shells in Bellaire, Wagoner Beach Barn in Bradenton, FL, and was the president of Wagoner Transportation Company of Muskegon with terminals in Traverse City, Sault Ste. Marie, Napoleon, Dollar Bay and Escanaba. He was a life member of the Traverse City Elks Lodge #323, the Bellaire Lions Club and enjoyed fishing at his cabin. On August 7, 1982 in Baldwin, he married Caren Crant who survives. Also surviving are his four children, H. Scott Wagoner of Petoskey, Wendy (Rick Shapiro) Wagoner of Cedarville, Tammy (James) Patrick of Boyne City, April (Gordon) Ball of Haines City, FL, 7 grandchildren, Erich, Rosemary, Danny, Lucas, Alyssa, Kirsten and Alexis, an aunt Zora Klecka, a cousin Nancy Beardsley and two nephews Joe and Jack Beardsley all of North Muskegon. He was preceded in death by his first wife Mary T. Gadreault and his parents. A celebration of Scott's life will take place on Saturday, June 30, 2007 at Ten a.m. at St. Luke Catholic Church in Bellaire. Fr. James Gardiner will officiate. Visitation will take place on Friday, from 5-8 p.m. at the Bellaire Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. Interment will take place in Lakeview Cemetery, Bellaire. A luncheon will follow graveside services at St. Luke Catholic Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bellaire Community Fund, PO BOX 998, Bellaire, Michigan 49615.
