Vickey S. Lockman

Vickey Susan Lockman, age 80, of Alden passed away Sunday, January 1, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born to Harold and Hazel (Clifford) Ricketson in Grand Rapids, Michigan on December 20, 1942.

After graduating from Union high school, she married Clifford Lockman.  They enjoyed 61 wonderful years together. 

Over the years, Vickey enjoyed bowling, bingo, cooking, and canning, but most of all she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Diana Waldo, brother, Larry Ricketson, sister-in-law Rosanne Blesma, brother-in-law Dave Deboer; nephew, Robbie Ricketson and great grandson Lincoln Kotowsky.

She is survived by her husband; sons, Greg (Lisa) and Marty (Jennifer); siblings, Nancy Deboer, Peggy (Ron) McCune, Denny (Terri) Ricketson; brother-in-law Jack Blesma; sisters-in-law Sharon (Larry) Anderson, Janet (Larry) Rytzak and Judy Windish; grandchildren, Brittany (Jason) Sopha, Joshua and Nicholas Lockman, Earnest and Tyler (Audrey) Hartzel, Hannah, Camille and Molly Fenton; great grandchildren, Addison, Caden and Camden Sopha, and Harper Kotowsky.

A Funeral service will be held January 4, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at the Bellaire Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.  Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Pastor Gary Bekkering officiating.
