Vera Mae Maloney, 90, of Sterling Heights, formerly of Mancelona, passed away April 23, in Mt. Clemens, MI.  Vera was born January 6, 1934 in Bay City, to Earl and Margaret (Dean) Alexander. 

 Most important to Vera was her faith in God.  Her family they were her pride and joy. Vera enjoyed playing bingo, crocheting, knitting, and loved being with her sister.

 Vera is survived by five children, Del (Shirley) Stevens of Marysville, MI, Don (Debbie) Stevens of St. Clair, MI, Teresa (Randy) Severance of Kalkaska, Tina (Ray) Hogarth of Buckley, and Norman (Robin) Maloney of Traverse City, also surviving are many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as her sister Joanne (Norm) Dembek of Sterling Heights. 

 She was preceded in death by her parents Earl and Margaret Alexander, her husband Norm Maloney, daughter Diana Dewey, and brother Robert Alexander. 

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 18 at 1:00 p.m. at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.  Visitation will take place from 12:00 noon until the time of service.  Pastor Sam McLellan will officiate.
