Todd Patrick Avery

Todd Patrick Avery, 57 of Mancelona, passed away October 2, 2022 at his home.  He was born March 26, 1965 in Ypsilanti, MI, the son of Donald E. Avery and Helen E. Santure. 

Todd worked at Grand Traverse Industries for many years and loved his job, well known for being a workaholic.  He loved mother nature and taking walks.  Todd enjoyed watching TV with his wife Surina, crafting models, painting, and puzzles. 

On June 24, 2022, Todd married Surina Marie Banwell of Mancelona, who survives.  Also surviving are his brother Adam Avery of Michigan, his sister Victoria (James) Guthrie of South Carolina, and special Aunt and Uncle Tom (Diane) Avery of Michigan. 

Funeral Services will take place Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes, with Pastor Eric Black officiating.  Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until the time of services at 1:30 p.m. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Mancelona. 

Memorial contributions in Todd’s memory may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
