Tina Marie McSawby

Tina Marie McSawby Wiser, 59, of East Jordan, passed away on June 18, 2026.

She was born on March 5, 1967, in Charlevoix, Michigan, the daughter of Alexander and Catherine (Sands) McSawby.

Tina was known affectionately by many as “Rabbitt.” She had a kind spirit and a creative soul. Painting and art were her greatest passions, and she also enjoyed poetry, reading, and taking walks. Tina liked to sit at the Log at Michigan Beach. Tina loved making people laugh with jokes and pranks and found joy in attending church, listening to the radio, and spending time with her family. One of her cherished memories was serving on the Venetian Queen Court in 1985. Above all, she treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her three children, Frederick Alexander Wiser Jr., Broderick Wiser, and Anthony Stainbrook; her sister, Lori Ann McSawby-Hartle; and her five beloved grandchildren, Elias, Kayson, Gracelynn, Alaina, and Riley.

Tina was preceded in death by her parents, Alexander and Catherine McSawby; her husband, Frederick Vern Wiser Sr.; her sister, Jennifer McSawby; and her brothers, Randy Coudron and Curtis Beyer.

Tina will be remembered for her creativity, sense of humor, loving heart, and the special bond she shared with her family and friends. Her memory will live on in the lives of all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 24, from 12-1pm, at Greensky Hill United Methodist Church, with a funeral service following visitation, at 1pm. Interment will take place at Brookside Cemetery in Charlevoix.
