Thomas P Grose

Thomas P. Grose, 76, of Charlevoix passed April 27, 2025 at home surrounded by his family. He was born in Kalkaska County, Michigan on April 18, 1949 to his parents Harold Otis and Bertha (Turk) Grose.

He married Frances Pryzybylski on October 12, 1968.Together, Thomas and Frances had two children, Kenneth Paul and Lisa Marie. "Tom" was a land surveyor in his early years, and later started his own business, Thomas P. Grose Builders Inc. from which he would later retire. He was known by all as a hard worker, kind, and always ready to lend a helping hand to whomever and whenever the need was present. He was proudly baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on September 30, 2018. He will truly be missed by all of his friends and family.

Thomas is survived by his wife of 56 years, Frances Pryzybylski Grose, his son Kenneth Grose (Tracey), and daughter Lisa Sarasin (Chris); along with grandsons Thomas Sarasin (Claire), Jacob Sarasin; granddaughters Sarah Quiroga (Alex) and Danielle Grose; sisters Barbara Belanger, Cindy Bull, Betty Young, and Laural Birdsall; brothers Francis Turk (Nancy), Joseph Grose (Ginni) Gerald Grose, and Roger Grose (Renee), Thomas was proceeded in death by his brothers David Grose and Paul Grose.

A memorial service will be held at the East Jordan Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 04925 Boyne City East Jordan Rd, East Jordan, May 11, 2025 at 3 p.m. 

Arrangements are in the care of the Charlevoix Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
