Thomas Danowski Sr.

Thomas Joseph Danowski Sr., 66 of Charlevoix, passed away December 6, 2020 at Hiland Cottage in Petoskey. Thomas was born July 19, 1954 on the Hamilton Air Force base in California, to Thomas R. Danowski and Dora M. (Bills) Danowski.

Tom was a Tool and Die maker for Ford Motor Company for over 30 years.  He worked on Mustangs for the last 10 years of his career.  He loved his career, and belonged to the Union of Automotive Workers for his entire employment.  Tom loved cars, including watching NASCAR, sports, and enjoyed photography.

On July 6, 1984 in New Boston, MI at St. Stephen Catholic Church, Thomas married Margaret (Weimert) Danowski who survives, along with two children, Thomas Jr. (Joanna) Danowski of Farmington and Frank John Danowski of Charlevoix.  Also surviving Tom are two brothers, Timothy Danowski of Alexandria, VA, and Theodore (Dr. Rod Greaves) Danowski of Palm Springs, CA, as well as three sisters, Helene Stokes and Margaret L. Danowski, both of East Lansing, MI, and Anne Elizabeth (Kathy Kult) Danowski of Rancho Mirage, CA.
