Suzanne Duby

Suzanne Mae Duby, 76, of Charlevoix, passed away November 4, 2024. She was born March 18, 1948, in Saginaw, the daughter of Charles and Laura Mae (McFadden) Berthume. 

She received an associates degree in accounting from North Central Michigan College and worked for many years at McDonalds.  She was a hard working employee and eventually transitioned to Burger King for several years where she retired from.  

Suzanne was a dedicated member of the First Baptist Church of Charlevoix.  Pastor Dave often came to visit her during her 3 years at Boulder Park which she thoroughly enjoyed.  

A favorite hobby of hers was baking, especially at Christmas time.  She would make lots of cookies, peanut butter balls, and peanut brittle to name a few.  She loved having big family celebrations! Family was so important to her. Her favorite sports were watching the Detroit Lions, and any games her grandchildren played in. In her spare time Suzanne also enjoyed crafting. 

Suzanne is survived by her daughters; Charlett (Gary) Duby, Victoria (Greg) Hardy, and Mary Duby, six loving grandchildren and six loving great-grandchildren.
