Sherine Marie Grody

Sherine Marie Grody, 47, of Mancelona passed away Saturday, August 20, 2022, surrounded by her family and friends.

She was born to Donald and Sharon (Short) Grody on March 9, 1975.

Sherine loved being outdoors snowmobiling, camping, and tubing on the river.  She loved spending time with her family and friends.  When she had a few quiet moments to herself she could be found cross stitching. 

She was preceded in death by her sister, Teressa Grody; maternal grandparents, Wayne and Helen Short, and paternal grandparents Don and Minnie Grody.

Sherine is survived by her parents; children, Destiny Grody of Florida, and Joshua Graham Jr. of Mancelona; sister, Carey (Sam) Squires of Mancelona; grandchildren, Cyrus Burgess and Aurora Burgess; nieces and nephews, Zachary, Colby, Preaston, Sam Jr., Chloe, and Cali; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and her beloved dogs Precious and Daisy.

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 26, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Home with Pastor Ross Corne officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.  Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Mancelona.

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 25, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family.
