Sharon Bronson

Sharon L. Bronson, 60, of Mancelona, went to be with the Lord March 8, 2012. She was born February 21, 1952 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Philip and Margaret Gourneau. Sharon was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved the Lord with all her heart. She enjoyed writing books, crocheting blankets and donating them to nursing homes along with spending time with her family. On October 9, 1969 , in Whittemore, MI, she married Kenneth J. Bronson, who survives. She is also survived by her children, Dustin (Marla) Bronson and Tamara (Kevin) Mahloch; siblings, Sandy Williams, Philip Edward "Eddie" Gourneau, Robin Ryan and Terry Gourneau; two special grandsons, Riley and Nathan Mahloch and several nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed. Services will be held Monday, March 12, at Eleven a.m. at Living Word North, Bellaire with Pastor Brad Klooster officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service. A luncheon will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family through Mortensen Funeral Homes, P.O.
