Sharlene Joan Hintz

Sharlene Joan Hintz, 87, of Elmira passed away April 17, 2023 at the age of 87.

She was born to Kenneth and Helen (Waite) Spies on March 5, 1936, in Lake Orion, Michigan.

Sharlene is survived by her son, Shawn (Kelly) Hintz, her granddaughter Stephanie (Andrew) Pica, her grandson Ethan, several dear sister and brother-in-laws, and many nieces and nephews.

Sharlene was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.  She was married to her husband Louis, who preceded her in death in 2018, for 59 years.  She also had many, many dear friends who were like family to her.

She loved her family and friends, but above all, she loved her God, Jehovah.  She wanted everyone to know about the wonderful hope she had for the future as found in the bible.

A Memorial Service will be held on April 29, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 283 McCoy Rd., Gaylord, MI 49735.
