Ryan Weiss

Ryan Matthew Weiss, 36 of Charlevoix, died Friday, December 6, 2019 at McLaren Northern Michigan.

He was born March 1, 1983 in Grand Rapids the son of Curtis and Lisa (Hartley) Weiss and graduated from Kenowa Hills High School in 2001.  After graduation he attended Kendall College of Art and Design.

On July 6, 2012 in Charlevoix Ryan married Elizabeth Ann Kelly.  He deeply loved his wife and their children.  He was involved in their activities at school and excited to soon be an Odyssey of the Mind coach.  Ryan enjoyed deer hunting, tending his vegetable garden and putting Lego sets together with his kids.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, his children Brayden, Brecklan, Lucah, and Cecelia, his parents Curtis and Lisa, sister Lydia (Kyle Hosinger-Johnson) Weiss, his in-laws, Delbert and Mary Ann Kelly, sister in law Kristine (Keith) Montone, brother in law Dan (Stephanie) Kelly, and several nieces and nephews.   Preceding him in death were his grandparents Arnold and Eleanor Weiss and Lydia and Harold Hartley, and Aunt Tina.

A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at 2 p.m. at the Community Reformed Church of Charlevoix.  The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until the time of service.  Memorial contributions can be given at Forefront Credit Union in the name of Elizabeth Kelly Weiss.
