Rose Wiser

Rose Marie Wiser, 67, of Petoskey, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility in Bellaire. She was born on April 14, 1957, in Lansing, MI, the daughter of Thomas and Juanita (Brown) Rogers.

Rose graduated high school from Bath High School and went on to obtain an associates degree from North Central Michigan College in Petoskey. She enjoyed a career working as a waitress at the Big Boy in Petoskey for over 10 years. Many will remember her welcoming smile and sassy spirit from her time spent there. When she wasn’t working, Rose enjoyed taking long walks in nature, reading, rock picking, and Tarot. She also had an artist’s sense and looked for the beauty in every facet of life. Rose had attended the First Baptist Church of Petoskey for the past few years as well. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.

Rose is survived by her four children, Kimberly Everson, Eric Everson, Cheanoa Millisor (Lisa), and Ryan Millstead (Chelsey); two sisters, Beth and Tracy; four grandchildren, Haley, Jonathan, Jacob, and Astral; and one great-grandchild, Atticus.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Kalinovik, her parents, and her sister, Star.

Rose’s family has chosen to celebrate her life privately.
