Rodney Forbes

Rodney William Forbes, 54 of Ellsworth and formerly of Caledonia, died Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at home surrounded by his loved ones. He was born January 5, 1966 in Grand Rapids, the son of Harold and Maxine (Blair) Forbes.

Rodney was a 1984 graduate of Caledonia High School.

He is survived by his mother Maxine Forbes of Ellsworth, his sisters Amy Nawrocki of Ellsworth, Cindy (Tom) Themm of Charlevoix, Brenda (Howard) Hawkins of Kansas City, Missouri, nieces and nephews Ed (Shaunda) Hawkins, Jamie Hawkins, Alyssa (Dan) Riley, and Evan Themm. He was preceded in death by his father Harold in 1998.

Graveside services will take place Friday, October 23 at 11 a.m. at Whitneyville Cemetery, Alto, MI.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be given to Munson Healthcare Hospice, 1105 Sixth Street, Traverse City, MI 49684.
