Rodger Hibbard  62, of Central Lake, passed away unexpectedly,  on October 27, 2019.

Rodger was born on July 27, 1957, in Northville, Michigan, the son of Joe and Lucy (Hatfield) Hibbard.

Rodger loved spending time with his family and was always supportive to his children and grandchildren throughout their sporting events and anything they were involved in.

He worked in the oil fields for 40 plus years where he held several jobs and most recently a tool pusher.   He collected classic die cast cars, enjoyed attending classic car shows and playing cards.

He is survived by 5 children, Jason (Crystal) Powell of Eatonville, Washington, Melissa (Scott) Adams of Thibodaux, Louisiana, Shawna (Jeff) Landers of Mancelona, Chase (Robyn) Hibbard and Lance Hibbard both of Central Lake, a sister, Betty Jo (David) Austin of Rineyville, Kentucky, 17 grandchildren, Sterling, Sophia, Savannah, Adrian, Lauren, Dillon (Tiffany), Justin, Grant, Benton, Monica, Quinten, Drayton, Bailey, Maleeya, Myla, Naomi and Jacob and a great-granddaughter Leia.

He was preceded in death by his wife Kathleen Hibbard, a sister Darlene Sizemore and his parents.

A memorial service will take place on Friday, November 1, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes with visitation beginning at 4 p.m. until the time of service on Friday.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Central Lake Football Program, c/o CLPS, P.O. Box 128, Central Lake, MI,  49622.
