Robert Turner Jr.

Robert Leslie Turner Jr., 77, of Elmira, passed away on Friday, March 12, 2021 at his home surrounded by loved ones.  He was born on November 18, 1943 in Lincoln, NE, the son of Robert Leslie Jr. and Lucille (Jones) Turner.

Bob loved to spend time outside; he enjoyed hunting, camping, and occasionally fishing.  Bob moved from the Grand Rapids area to Elmira in 2001, and on August 22, 2003, he married Lois DeWitt in Las  Vegas, NV.

Bob is survived by his loving wife, Lois Turner; two children, Tammi (Bill) VanEgmond and Jeff (Gina) Turner; three stepchildren, Jeff (Julie) Bullen, Jason (Ashley) Bullen, and Jackie Bullen; his brother, Jim (Pat) Turner; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Sally Robertson; and his grandson, Thomas Belanger.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.  Visitation will take place from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
