Robert Wayne Risteau

Robert W. Risteau, 58 of Central Lake, passed away August 29, 2022.  He was born April 7, 1964 in Traverse City the son of Arnold and Lena (Alexander) Risteau.

   As a lifelong resident of Central Lake, Bobby was a self-proclaimed country man.  He loved being outdoors, riding his 4 wheeler, having fun, and spending time with his friends and family.  He also loved fishing, especially with his uncle Jim Risteau. 

   He is survived by his son Dallas Cary of Central Lake, sisters Kathy (Dan) Rick of FL, Gay Swan of Central Lake, Pauline Risteau (Don Bickel) of Warren, nieces and nephews Lisa (Corey) Hoeksma of MS, Tina (Bryon) Ries of East Jordan, David (Kelly) Mathers of TX, Samantha Penfold of Mancelona, and Sara Cameron of TX and several other great nieces and nephews and cousins.

   He was preceded in death by his parents, brother in law Jerry Cameron, and several extended family members. 

   There will be a memorial service on Friday, October 7, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes with Pastor Gary Bekkering officiating.   Visitation will be from 12 noon until the time of services.

   Private burial will take place in Southern Cemetery, Central Lake Township.
