Robert Dustin

Robert Emery Dustin, 70 of Central Lake died December 21, 2019 at home.

He was born October 8, 1949 in Flint, Michigan the son of Melvin and Wilhelmenia (Lehman) Dustin.

Bob retired from General Motors after many years of dedicated service.  He vacationed in northern Michigan his entire life and made it his permanent home upon retirement.  Bob enjoyed the great outdoors and could be found spending most of his time hunting and fishing.  Bob also like to travel.

Surviving are his wife Lois Risteau Dustin, his children Diana (Korri) Fanger and Tony (Marie) Dustin, 6 grandchildren Alex and Eric Kooistra, Brienna, Michaela, Brodie, and Zoe Dustin, nieces Theresa Nealey and Patty (Craig) Kershaw, nephew Daniel (Charlene) Abney, many great nieces and nephews, Lois’s son James “Jimmy” (Tammy) Risteau, granddaughters Amber Juracko Risteau, Katie Shaw and Amanda Dawson, and former wife Jan (Bill) Moore.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister and brother in law Joyce Ann (Lenlie “Aud”) Abney, great nephew Bradley Abney, and Lois’ daughter Christina Bose.

A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, September 20th at 11 a.m. at the VFW Hall 1805 South Main Street, Central Lake, MI 49622.
