Robert "Bobby" R Patton

Robert R. “Bobby” Patton, lifelong resident of Bellaire passed away, Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at home. Born on July 29, 1960, to Robert and Joyce (Hill), he was a dedicated son, brother, uncle, and friend to all.

Bobby was known by most as a farmer. It was his way of life. He grew up farming, worked at Lamina Bronze for 20 years, and went back to farming full-time; his life passion. He also enjoyed hunting and was a member of the Bear Hunters Association. Bobby could often be found at local sporting events cheering on his nieces and nephews in all their endeavors.

Surviving are his siblings Bill (Linda) Patton, Pam Patton, Bruce (Cheryl) Patton, Vicki (Ken) Hutchens, nieces and nephews Billy (Shannon) Patton, Jessica Grnya, Janet (Brian) Engel, Michael Hutchens, Whitney Patton, 7 great nieces and nephews Addyson, Averrie, Lincoln, Londyn, Isaac, Brooklynn, and Caleb.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday, May 29, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Bellaire Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes with a Celebration of Life being held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be given to the Bellaire Sports Boosters, c/o Gloria Campbell, 608 Holiday Dr, Bellaire, MI 49615.
