Ricky A. Aldrich

Ricky A. Aldrich,  60, of Mancelona, passed away on May 17, 2024 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.  He was born on April 4,1964, in Bellaire, the son of Alfred "Rex" and Fern (Coon) Aldrich.
   
Ricky was a die hard University of Michigan fan and loved the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, camping and hunting morel mushrooms.

   Surviving are a son Randy Aldrich of Mancelona, his mother Fern Smith of Mancelona, 3 sisters, Debbie Schram, Vicki Kleeman, Donna Rousseau all of Mancelona, a step-brother Ed (Tanja) Smith of FL, aunt Jackie (Ernie) Wcisel of Gaylord, uncle Rod (Sue) Aldrich of Alden, 3 nieces Tanya (Greg), Darcy (Jamie), Shasta (Juan), a step-niece Krista (Rob), step-nephew Kellan (Reagan) as well as several great-nieces, great-nephews and many other extended family members.

   Preceding him in death were his father Alfred "Rex" Aldrich, brother Randy Aldrich, step-father Ray "Boots" Smith, and his grandparents Mitch and Pauline Coon and James and Anna coon.

   Memorial Services will take place on Friday, May 24, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes with Pastor Sam McClellan officiating. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. also at the funeral home.
