Rebecca Kalush

Rebecca Lynn Kalush, 65, of East Jordan, passed away on March 17, 2026. She was born on April 24, 1960, in Traverse City, the daughter of Eddie “Jake” and Clareann (Sams) Russell.

Becky loved anything to do with music. She enjoyed singing Patsy Cline, listening to Tina Turner, and turning up the music a little too loud, on occasion. Family was very important to her, and in her free time she spent countless hours with her children and grandchildren. She was an animal lover by nature and always had fun playing cards.

She is survived by her loving husband, Thomas Kalush, three children, Bryon (Brenna) Russell of Traverse City, Jamie Kalush of Traverse City, Patrick “Bud” (Ashley) Kalush of East Jordan, one brother, David (Billi Jo) Russell of East Jordan, seven grandchildren, Nathen, Essence, Kaiden, Summer, Roslyn, Chloe, and Curtis.

Preceding her in death are her parents, two brothers, Mark Russell, Raymond Russell, one sister, Pam Russell.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, March 21, from 12 noon until 2pm, at the Charlevoix Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. A service will be held following visitation at 2pm.
