Raymond Kirkwood Vivyan Jr

Raymond Kirkwood Vivyan Jr went to God Tuesday, February 3rd, 2026. He was 87 years old.

In 1996 he moved to Kewadin and together with his wife of 30 years, Paula Loveless Vivyan, they bought and operated the Elk Lake Market. They moved to Central Lake in 2005 and retired in 2006. Ray stayed active in the community. He volunteered for Meals on Wheels for several years as well as for the Bellaire Chamber of Commerce.

Ray loved camping and loved this community. He made many dear friends throughout the years.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Frank Vivyan.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 11, from 4-6pm, at the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. A Memorial Service will follow visitation at 6pm, with Pastor Gary Bekkering officiating. 

Memorial contributions can be given to the Antrim County COA or the Animal Shelter.
