Raymond Huffman

Raymond Jefferoy Huffman, 37, of Elmira left this world behind as his loved ones sat by his side and held his hands early Wednesday September 15th.
Celebration of life for Ray will be held at the Antrim Church of Christ in Mancelona Saturday, September 25th 1:00 p.m. through 5:00 p.m.
Ray was born December 15th 1983 in Traverse City, MI to Donald and Sandra (Beeler) Huffman of Mancelona. Ray attended Mancelona Public and Concord Academy.  Raymond worked many jobs, but the last 15 years were mainly dedicated to being an HVAC Tech. Ray took great pride in his work and the ability to be a provider for his family. He enjoyed walks with the family, fishing, mushroom hunting, "gardening", and he'd never turn down the chance to start a fire or stand around a bonfire with friends and family, sometimes even alone. Most of all Ray loved spending time with his close buddies, siblings, fiance, and especially his children. Ray was a good man who did a lot for everyone. He'll be greatly missed.
Raymond was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Kenneth and Joyce Gearhart and paternal grandparents Bill and Frances, his Great Grandparents, his good friend Scott, and his angel Baby.
Raymond is survived by his fiance of 9 years Ashley Orman (Collins), his children Emma (16), Jaxon (7), Vera (3), and his bonus son Liam (9).  Parents Donald and Sandra Huffman. His brothers Jim (Jody) Buning, Donny (Deann) Huffman, and sister Bobbie Jo (Tony) Huffman. His "In-Laws" Teri (Carl) Grody, Mike Smith, Ben (Suzie) Collins. "In-Law" Siblings Allison (Connor) Smith, Rachel (John) McCafferty, Eli Boss, Hannah (Sean) Boss, Jacob (Kendal) Collins, and Zebulun Collins. Ray had 8 nephews, 7 nieces, and one on the way, as well his great niece Halston. Ray is also survived by his first wife Tabbatha and her children Lydia and Hailyauna (Daniel) and his "heart" granddaughter Nova. He loved those kids.  And last, but far from least many, many GREAT friends.
Arrangements are in the care of the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.  Please sign his online guestbook at www.mortensenfuneralhomes.com
