Ramona L. Bancroft

Ramona L. Bancroft,  74, of Mancelona, passed away on July 15, 2026.

   She was born on April 4, 1952, in Petoskey, MI, the daughter of Guy and Mary (Haddix) Mosley.

   Her priority in life was her family and spending time with them.   She enjoyed gardening, rock collecting, especially Petoskey stones,  as well as playing cards.

   On June 30, 1969, in Ft. Worth, Texas, she married Jack C. Bancroft who survives.   Also surviving are 3 children, Mona (Dave) Lock of Macomb, MI, Jack Jr. (Heidi) Bancroft of Mancelona, Mary (Matt) Maciag of Mancelona, 6 grandchildren, Colin, John, Heather, Monica, Jaclyn, Jack III, a brother Cliff (Tammy) Leazier of Boyne Falls, MI, and a sister Maude Still of Petoskey.

   She was preceded in death by 2 grandsons, David Lock, Justin Rogers, 4 siblings, Kathy, Rose, Jane, and Rebecca as well as her parents.

   Funeral services will take place on Monday, July 20, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes with visitation taking place from 11:00 a.m. until beginning of services.

   Pastor Gary Bekkering will officiate.

   Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Mancelona Township.

   Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of choice.

   Arrangements are in the care of the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
