Phyllis Johnston

Phyllis Marie Johnston, 83, of Bellaire, passed away on October 24, 2025. She was born on November 22, 1941, in Bellaire, the daughter of Alonzo "Pete" and Dorothy (Patton) Marshall.

Phyllis had a giving heart; anything she could do to help someone, she would do it. Along with a giving heart came her adventurous spirit. She loved riding in the truck, riding motorcycles, and to travel. She was up for anything and enjoyed trying new things. She will be deeply missed and cherished by many.

Survivors include a daughter; Terri Ray of Edgewater, FL, a sister; Linda Steighner of Oakhill, FL, grandchildren; Larry Coblentz III, Levi Coblentz, Kevin Ray, Alona Reeves, Dale Reeves III, Mariah Huffman, Randy Aldridge, Marina Pennycuff, great-grandchildren; Larkyn, Kylie, Dale Reeves IV, Forrestt Boudrie, Serenity Wilson, Brooklynn Wilson, "special companion", Bud Lockman, many nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; Alonzo and Dorothy, a son; Dale Reeves Jr., a daughter; Sheila Marie Reeves, brothers; Frank, Don, Bill, and Virgil Marshall, and a sister; Virginia Lacy.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 3, at the Bellaire Wesleyan Church, from 5-6pm. A funeral service will be held following the visitation at 6pm.
