Patrick Crouch

Patrick Leroy Crouch, 72, of Mancelona, passed away at home on August 4, 2026.

Patrick was born on March 17, 1954, in Petoskey, Michigan, to Leo and Josephine (Croff) Crouch.

Patrick will be remembered as someone who was always willing to lend a helping hand. If someone needed him, he was there without hesitation. He enjoyed scrapping metal, making maple syrup, farming, and spending time outdoors. In his younger years, he loved horseback riding, camping, sitting by the lake, and fishing. Above all, Patrick cherished his family and especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Patrick was more than a father—he was also a dad to someone he didn't have to be, offering love, guidance, and support without question. His kindness, generosity, and quiet strength touched many lives, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Patrick is survived by his two children, Vernell (Kimberly) Crouch of Mancelona and Misty (Steve) Scholl of Mancelona; his brothers, Delbert Crouch of Gaylord, Sheldon Crouch of Alba, and Kevin Crouch of Petoskey; his sister, Donna Conroy of Lansing; five grandchildren, Austin, Devin, David, Kallie, and Leah; and three great-grandchildren, Dalton, AnnaLee, and Leona.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Josephine Crouch; his brother, Wilford Crouch; and his sister, Sandy.

A gathering will take place at their home at a later date.

Arrangements are in the care of the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
