Patricia Jane Weesner

Patricia J. Weesner,  93, of Mancelona, passed away on May 26, 2026.

   Pat was born on February 9, 1933, in Alba, the daughter of Carl and Mildred (Wolcott) Birdsall.

   She cooked at the Mancelona Senior Center for 20 years and enjoyed reading, wood puzzles and embroidery.  

   Spending time with her family was the most important part of her life.

Surviving are 7 children, Carol (Garry) Cooper of Mancelona, Mark Weesner of Mancelona, Tammy North of Alba, Sandy Berreth of Gaylord, Kim (Alan) Kucharek of Bellaire, Bill Weesner of North Carolina, Bob (Michelle) Weesner of Mancelona, 20 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

   She was preceded in death by her son Steven Weesner, her parents and 6 siblings.

   Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes with visitation from 11 a.m. until beginning of services.

   Pastor Dennis Burton will officiate.

   Burial will follow in Star Township Cemetery, Alba.

   Arrangements are in the care of the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
