Patricia McGovern

Patricia J. McGovern (Pat), 89, of Ellsworth, Michigan passed away peacefully under hospice care on Sunday, August 6, 2023 at the American House in Charlevoix. She was born on September 2, 1933, in Duluth, MN, the daughter of John and Anna (Kilby) McGovern.

Pat is survived by her six children, Cheryl L. (John W.) Smith, Deborah J. Poulos, Gerald F. Anderson, Diane R. Holton, Patricia J. Anderson, and Kelly L. Owen; 13 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; her sister, Marian; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Dennis Finn; and her son, Thomas Anderson.

Patricia touched the lives of many friends and family members over the years. She lived life to the fullest having loved being a big part of Antrim Dells Golf Course. Pat was witty and funny and very hard working.  She will be missed and remembered always.

Pat’s family has chosen to celebrate her life privately.  She will be laid to rest in Antrim City Cemetery in the fall of 2023.
