Nona Marie Spence

Nona Marie Spence, age 87, passed away peacefully, November 10, 2023, with her beloved husband Jim by her side.  She was born November 27, 1935 the daughter of Alva and Elizabeth (Pruitt) Noirot.

   Nona was full of life.  She loved to cook and spend time with her family.  She enjoyed camping and the great outdoors.  Nona also kept a very clean house!

   On June 19, 1980 in Bellaire she married James Spence who survives.  Also surviving are her children Mark (Marlene) Derenzy of East Jordan, Orville Derenzy of East Jordan, Donna (Al) Buning of Mancelona, stepson Edward (Margaret) Spence of Fort Fairfield, ME, brothers Alan (Connie) Noirot of East Jordan, Alvie Noirot of Charlevoix, 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  Preceding her in death were her parents, her son Dennis Derenzy, daughter Sherry

Monfort, sister Brenda Bowden, and stepson Timothy Spence.
