Michael Spencer

Michael S. Spencer, 67, of Ellsworth, died Saturday, August 5, 2017 at his home.
He was born September 24, 1949 in Pontiac to Vaughn and Leona (Beach) Spencer.
He served his country with the US Marine Corps.
On August 4, 2006, he married Robin (Lambka) Spencer in Ellsworth where they made their home.
Mike worked in construction as a brick layer. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing and hunting.
Surviving are his wife Robin; children Thomas J. Spencer of Biloxi, Mississippi., Sarah Spencer of Millington, Amy (Harvey) King of Mt. Pleasant, S.C., Thomas Bond of Lansing, CJ (Steven) Latour of Kimball; 8 grandchildren; siblings LaVonna (Lanny) McCool of Utica, Colleen "Patti" (Joseph) Donnellan of East Jordan and Tim (Monica) Spencer of Ellsworth.
A memorial service will be held at 9 a.m.Thursday, August 10, 2017 at Hastings Funeral Home in Ellsworth with the Rev. Celia M. Hastings officiating.
