Martha D Ayers

Martha “Marty” D. Ayers, 81, of Kalkaska went to the be with the lord on July 31, 2025.

She was born on March 25, 1944 in Dowagiac, the daughter of the late Clyde P and Betty L. (Whitmyer) Ayers.

Marty graduated high school from Kalkaska High School. She was a loving mother, grandmother, Gigi , sister and friend. Marty always found the best of all people in her life. She had a great sense of humor and was always ready with a joke in every situation. Marty enjoyed bird watching, spending time with family and friends and watching church on channel 882. In her younger years she enjoyed gardening especially flowers as well as crocheting and baking.

Marty is survived by her children, Lori Swinehart, Karen Keller, Ken (Betty) Keller and Jodi Lambert. As well as her adopted children, Mark (Jenny) Hunn, Kelly Hunn and Robert Hunn. Her grandchildren, Samantha (Joseph) Bielski, Angel (Dan) Rhoat, Douglas (Kaitlyn) Rosen, Tayla Rucker, Andrew Keller, Emilea (David) Udell, Thomas (Emily) Keller, Jori Keller, Isaac (Heidi) Lambert, Sarah (Nolan) Howes, Rachel (Tyler Krych) Lambert. As well as adopted grandchildren, Michael (Kylie Vos) Wojay, Heidi (Scott) Rochon, Jennifer Hunn, Logan Hunn, Joshua Hunn, Savanah Hunn, Billy Hunn, many great grandchildren, brother, Ronnie Ayers and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her daughter Angel Marie, grandson, Kenneth P. Keller III and adopted daughter Darcy Hunn, brothers, Wes and Maynard Ayers.

Revelation 21:4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
