Marlene E. Barber

Marlene E. Barber,  85, of Central Lake, passed away on April 1, 2022 at Munson Hospice House.

   She was born on March 5, 1937, in Hillsdale County, MI, the daughter of Lloyd and Margaret (Jewitt) Swaney.

   Marlene lived in Central Lake for many years and was employed at Texas Instruments.  She enjoyed quilting, croheting and spending time with her beloved late dog "Dakota".

   Surviving are a son Almer Barber of Central Lake.

   Preceding her in death were a son Harold Barber, husband Elmer Barber, 3 brothers Roy, Don, and Robert Swaney, and her parents Lloyd and Margaret Swaney.

   No services are planned at this time.

   She will be buried in Southern Cemetery at a later date.

   Arrangements are being handled by the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
