Mark R Jones

Mark peacefully passed away April 1st, 2026 at 11:10 pm in his home in Mancelona, MI.

Born June 9th, 1964 to Arthur and Reda Jones in Detroit, MI alongside two loving siblings - Steve and Christine. He spent his childhood in Adrian, MI with a deep love for nature and his horse, Streaker. He spent his professional career enjoying sales and talking to people; he loved to talk.

Mark enjoyed being active by skiing, hunting and horseback riding. He loved reading, watching movies and tv shows, and keeping up with all things political.

Mark is preceded in death by the mother of his children, Renee. He is survived by his two children, Lily and Grant.

Mark will be cremated and his service will be the spreading of his ashes amongst the natural beauty of his home state.

Arrangements are in the care of the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
