Marilyn A. Schrock

Marilyn A. Schrock, 88, of Mancelona, passed away on December 14, 2025.  She was born on January 11, 1937, in Traverse City, the daughter of Rudolph and Jane (Noteware) Bohaboy.

Marilyn enjoyed playing the piano, crocheting, knitting, reading, flower gardening, and loved her animals, especially her cat Lucy. But, most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving are 4 children, Norma (Clint) Kibby of Mancelona, Jon Bush of Traverse City, Amy Forton (Ben Young) of Mancelona, Lorena (Jim) Manville of Rapid City, 12 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her first husband Leon Bush, second husband Gerald Schrock, a daughter Sandra Hanna, 2 sisters, Martha Plater, Ellen Bailey, Grandson Jessie Rodgers, great-granddaughter Aleksandra Karl as well as her parents.

Funeral services will take place on Friday, May 15, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes with visitation from 12:30 p.m. until the time of services.

Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Mancelona.
