Marilyn L. Lucas

Marilyn Lucas, 72 of Mancelona, Michigan passed away Sunday August 7, 2022, at Munson Medical center in Traverse City, Michigan.  Marilyn was born in Petoskey, Michigan, March 17, 1950 and was adopted by her parents David E. Carpenter and Avabelle W. Carpenter. 

Preceding her in death were her brother, Allen D. Carpenter and son, James E. Lucas.

She is survived by her son, Jonathan D Lucas; daughter-in-law, Cynthia M. Lucas; daughter, Mellissa Rice; granddaughters, Makenzie Lucas, Stephanie Robinson, Brittney Weier, and Gabrielle Kitchens; grandsons, Max Lucas, Dennis Kendall, Gavin Flynn, Brenden Flynn, and Tristen Kitchens; great granddaughters, Jasmine Kendal, Freya Robinson, Korra Robinson, Kali Kay Simpson, and Ivory Wilson and, great grandson, George Robinson.

In respect of Marilyn’s wishes there will be a Celebration of Life on September 18, 2022 and will be announced by her family.
