Marilyn Loy

Marilyn Loy, 93, of Central Lake, passed away November 22, 2021 at Orchard Creek Supportive Care.  Marilyn was born in Petoskey, Michigan on September 1, 1928 the daughter of Jesse Ault and Lena Stalker.

Marilyn loved family gatherings, and adored her grandchildren. On her free time, she enjoyed painting and being near Torch Lake. She was a proud University of Michigan graduate, where she received a degree in teaching and enjoyed watching the Wolverines play football. Marilyn was a loyal member of the Eastport Baptist Church.

She is proceeded in death by her parents, her loving husband Glenn Loy, son Bill Loy, and daughter Linda Loy.

Marilyn is survived by 2 sons, Glenn “Rick” Loy Jr. (Leslie) of Traverse City, David Loy of Otisville, Daughter in Law Cindy Loy of Central Lake, grandchildren, Matt (Michelle) Loy of Hiram, GA, David Loy Jr. (Desiree) of Flint, Woody (Amy) Stockton of Marlette, Bill (Sarah) Loy of Ellsworth and Jacob Ballard of Burton, and many great grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will take place Saturday, November 27 at 1:00 p.m. at the Eastport Baptist Church in Eastport, MI with Pastor Jerry Troyer officiating. Visitation will take place from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service with interment following at Lakeview Cemetery in Eastport.
