Lyndel S. Vander Ark - Jensen, 80, of Ellsworth, died December 10, 2022, at home, surrounded by her loved ones.
She was born March 15, 1942, in Charlevoix, to Delbert and Celia (Crain) Ingalls.
On November 11, 1960, she married Keith Vander Ark, in Ellsworth. They made their home in Banks Township.
Lyndel worked at Shook’s Market as a clerk and at the Ellsworth Community School as an aide. Lyndel volunteered at Good Samaritan in Ellsworth, as a Lioness and also with the PTO for the Ellsworth Community School.
Lyndel was a member of the Ellsworth Christian Reformed Church and was a member of Ladies Aide.
Lyndel was preceded in death by Keith, February 01, 2010.
Lyndel was blessed to have met Jim Jensen, of Charlevoix, Michigan, and they were married March 21, 2020, Jim preceded her in death October 10, 2021. Lyndel was also preceded in death by her parents Delbert and Celia Ingalls, brother-in-law’s Peter Jay Vander Ark and Jerry Cox.
Lyndel is survived by her children Brenda(Dudley) Stevens of Ellsworth, Jeff(Karen) Vander Ark, Sheila Dhillon, Brian(Aimee) Vander Ark, and Brad(Kim) Vander Ark; 26 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; step-children Martin(Kim) Jensen, Sherry Jensen Daniel(Cindy) Jensen, Julie(Mark) Schaberg, Victoria(Dave) Koteskey, and Julia(Mark) Schaberg; brothers Jay(Charlene) Ingalls, Jack(Margaret) Ingalls, Allen(Colleen) Ingalls, Everett(Linda) Ingalls and sister Ila Cox; sister-in-law’s Nanette Vander Ark - Wertman of East Jordan and Judy Farkas – Vander Ark of East Jordan.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 15th from 4 to7 p.m. and Friday, December 16th at 10 a.m. ALL at the Ellsworth CRC, of Ellsworth.
Funeral services will be held, in Lyndel’s honor, on Friday, December 16th at 11 a.m. also at the Ellsworth CRC, with Pastor David Kroon officiating. Burial will follow in Ellsworth Cemetery. A luncheon will follow back at the church in the fellowship hall.
