Louise Richey

Louise May Richey, 85, of Mancelona, passed away on October 19, 2023, at home. She was born on July 14, 1938, in Troy, MI, the daughter of William and Ruth (Casebier) Armbrecht.

Louise was a very caring person. In her free time, she enjoyed crafting, gardening, and putting puzzles together. Louise liked to travel when she had the chance and had a passion for cats. During her working days, she spent many years as a nurse at Kalkaska Memorial Hospital, where she would eventually retire from. In her later years, she resided at home with granddaughter Crystal Meadows, her daughter Angela Richey, and her great-granddaughter, Ashley Richey.

Surviving her in death are five children, Dale Richey, Terry (Laura) Richey, Marc (Charlotte) Richey, Angela Richey, daughter-in-law Cathy Richey, granddaughter Crystal and seventeen grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.

Preceding Louise in death are her parents, loving child Robin, and a brother, William Armbrecht.

Arrangements are in the care of the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
