Leona June Parney

Leona J. Parney,  47, of Kewadin, passed away on March 3, 2022 at her home.

   She was born on May 10, 1974, in Landstuhl, Germany, the daughter of Allen and Sandra (Ashquab) Parney.

   Leona loved to sky and cloud gaze and was an avid Pokeman Go gamer.

   On August 6, 2016, in Grand Rapids, MI, she married Wilmer Alberts Jr. who survives.  Also surviving are 2 daughters, Ciarra Parney of Coopersville, MI, Ariel Hendershot of Ionia, MI, a sister Michelle (Phillip) of SC, and other extended famliy members.

   Preceding her in death were a daughter Cheyenne Hendershot and her parents.

   Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the Community Center at the beach.

   Visitation will take place from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services at 1:00.

   Memorial contributions may be made to the family.

   Arrangements are being handled by the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
