Keith Bollinger

KEITH R. BOLLINGER 83, of Bellaire, formerly of Lakeview, died Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at home. Keith was born August 19, 1924 in Lakeview the son of Ralph and Viva (Hafey) Bollinger. He owned and operated the family business, Bollinger Inc. Chrysler Dealership in Lakeview until the late 1980's, retiring to Torch Lake. He attended the business college of Michigan State University and served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing and hunting. On September 15, 1947 in Greenville he married Alice M. Petersen who preceded him in death in 2001. Surviving are three daughters, Kaylyn Kale of Byron Center, Faye Bollinger of Littleton, CO, Kelly (Jim) Palmer of Spring Lake, a sister Bernice Bennett of Boyne City, six grandchildren, Alec, Chase, Harrison, Michelle, Alison and Heather, three great grandchildren, Zoe, McCoy and Ethan. Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 19, 2008 at Three p.m. at the Lakeview Cemetery in Lakeview, MI. Military honors will follow under the auspices of the Lakeview VFW Post. In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Grass River Natural Area, P.O. Box 231, Bellaire, MI 49615.
