Kathy Lynn Sheppard

Kathy Lynn Sheppard, 66, of Bellaire, passed away on March 7, 2026. She was born on August 29, in Detroit, the daughter of Allen & Nancy (Peura) Skinkle.

Kathy was a dietary aide by trade which suited her perfectly, as she loved to cook. She enjoyed working many years in this role at Meadow Brook in Bellaire. In her free time, she enjoyed boating, sunbathing, and camping in the U.P. Nature was her favorite place to be in.

She is survived by her daughter; Melissa Sheppard of Central Lake, a brother; John Skinkle of Traverse City, a sister; Karen Haspas of Elk Rapids, and one grandchild; Ar'Ve Sheppard.

Preceding her in death are her parents, a son; Ar'Ve, a daughter; Amy, and three brothers; Stanley Skinkle, David Skinkle, and Kenneth Skinkle.
