Kathryn Murphy

Kathryn Ruth (Moore) Murphy, age 65 of Central Lake, died January 26, 2017 at Munson Medical Center.

Kathy was born May 15, 1951 in Bellaire to Jesse and Ruth (DePeel) Moore.

She is survived by her husband John Murphy of Central Lake, children Michael Tompkins and Amanda (Paul) Lester, and several grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters; Lydia Saddison of Bellaire, Daniel (Vallerie) of Alba, John (Alvareta) of Bellaire, Dorothy (Ed) Potrafke of Central Lake, and Tim (Joanie) Moore of Mancelona, and several nieces and nephews.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents.

Her obituary will be updated to include details of a Celebration of Life to be held in the near future.

The family was served by the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Home.
