Kathleen Marie Gosselin, 77 of Kalkaska, MIchigan, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family in the early morning hours of April 27th, 2023.  

Kathleen was born in Detroit, Michigan on November 10th, 1949 to Francis K. Ferland and Margaret T. Ferland.  She was married to the love of her life, Clarence Edward Gosselin for 31 years until his passing in 2009.

In 1992, she moved to a peaceful home in the wooded outskirts of Kalkaska, Michigan with her husband Clarence where she resised for the rest of her days.  Here, they spent their leisure time fishing, enjoying Bear Lake, and relishing their time with their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Kathleen is survived and deeply missed by her children Michele Leader and Michael Leader; her grandchildren Michael (Joisephine) Leader, Matthew (Heidi) Leader, Shannon Gosselin, Brendan Gosselin; her great grandchildren Mikaela, Jaxon, Madison, Mason, and Colt; as well as her siblings Margie Dmuchowski, Daniel (Deborah) Ferland, William Ferland, Mary Dalka, and Lorraine Ferland; in addition to many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.  

Kathleen is preceded in death by her husband Clarence Gosselin; her parents Francis Ferland and Margaret Ferland; as well as her siblings Frank Ferland, Tommy Ferland, Michael Ferland, and Regis Ferland.

A celebration of life is planned to be held early this summer and a date and time will be announced as it becomes available.
