Katherine Kowall

Katherine J. Kowall, 91 of Bellaire, died Sat. Apr. 19, 2014 at Charlevoix Area Hospital.
She was born Mar. 12, 1923, in Benton, IL, the daughter of Wilfred and Sylvia (McConnell) Shockley.
Katherine was a member of the Bellaire Community United Methodist Church for over 50 years. She enjoyed gardening, camping, and mushroom hunting.
Surviving Katherine is her son Kurtis Kowall of Bellaire, brother Ferris McConnell of Florida, and 3 grandchildren Correy Kowall of Bellaire, Dusty Kowall of Milford, and Kelsey Davis of Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by her husband Art Kowall, daughter Kris Kowall-Davis, and parents.
Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time. Memorial contributions can be directed to the Bellaire Community United Methodist Church.
